24 ~ Power of Attorney
It
is a good Idea to have a Power Of Attorney prepared ahead of
time in safekeeping of someone you trust so that you can have your
friends take actions on your behalf; like file your papers or speak
with the court from outside the jail. A HABEAS CORPUS
or SALVAGE OF THE VESSEL prepared ahead of time can get
you before the court without having to do an extended stay at your
favorite motel.
POWER
OF ATTORNEY – An instrument authorizing another to act as
one’s agent or attorney. The agent is attorney in fact and his
power is revoked on death of the principle by operation of law. Such
power may be either general or special. Black’s Law
Dictionary 5th edition
SALVAGE
OF THE VESSEL – Maritime Law method of bringing a grounded
or wrecked ship into litigation. Sue the vessel or vessel owner to
get out of jail and before a magistrate.
HABEAS
CORPUS – The name given to a variety of writs…having
for their object to bring a party before a court or judge. “…the
writ now extends to all constitutional challenges.” Fay v.
Noia, 372 U.S. 391, 83 S. Ct. 822, 9 L.Ed.2d. 837 Black’s
Law Dictionary 5th edition
COPYRIGHT
OF THE FICTION NAME – Having your friend or spouse
copyright the all caps name on the docket proves that an action can
only be brought against the fiction name and not the human. This
works really well to get the prosecution to accept that you are
merely representing, as owner, the fiction name on the docket.
This also gives cause for the owner of the copyright to sue the clerk
of the court for federal copyright infringement.
A
friend authorized to use a rubber stamp of your autograph is really
good way to get your paperwork to the court from behind bars.
